Why dogs are not allowed

The park says it cannot create dog areas because of its layout and heritage protection, so the ban covers every pet, also in carriers, bags or backpacks. Only guide dogs accompanying blind visitors may enter.

Two kennels near the park

Two boarding kennels about 6 km from the park offer discounted rates:

Il Custode delle Muraglie

from €17 per day

Il Sogno di Silvia e Nabirra

€18 to €35, depending on the day and length of stay

Call ahead to check they have a place on your date.

Practical tip: book the kennel first

Confirm a kennel place for your date before you buy park tickets. Our entry ticket is open-dated, so you can buy it once the kennel is booked and still use it on any open day.
