Tulipmania is the park's spring tulip festival, with over one million tulips across the gardens. Here is when to go in 2027, how to avoid the busiest days and which dates to skip with an open-date ticket.
Quick answer: go between the second half of March and mid-April, ideally on a weekday morning at opening time. Late varieties keep flowering into early May. Avoid the park's Special Dates, when open-date tickets are not valid.

The exact timing depends on the weather every year: a mild late winter brings the bloom forward, a cold spring holds it back. Bloom updates for 2027 start in March (see below).
On a few busy spring days the park limits entry to tickets bought on its own website for that specific date.
Special Dates in 2026:
2027: the Special Dates are not announced yet. They will likely fall on Easter, Easter Monday and the spring holidays.
What it means for your ticket: assume open-date tickets, including the one sold on this site via Tiqets, are not valid on Special Dates. Avoid those days, or buy a ticket for that specific date from the park.
Most visitors spend 2 to 4 hours in the park. In tulip season, allow the longer end and wear comfortable shoes: the gardens cover 600,000 square metres.
